Would you like to learn more about the international organizations and their work? Do you want to improve your employability skills? OCEANS Network is organizing its first career trip to some of the leading organizations and think tanks in Berlin. On November 18th, a group of OCEANers will have the opportunity to visit the World Bank office, the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) and the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP). Other organizations are to be confirmed. The event will end at 17:00h near Potsdamer Platz if you want to check your trip back.

The idea
The visit will include a meeting with senior staff, who will give an overview about the work of the organization but will also provide a general background regarding work/internship opportunities. The visits will also follow by a QA session, where members will be able to ask specific questions about the work of these organizations.  Active participation in the meeting is essential.
The visits aim at helping OCEANS members find new academic and professional interest in areas such as international development and relations.

If you are interested, then apply now! You can sign up for the conference until October 29th, 2013 - 9:00 am CET. We will announce the participants on October 31st, 2013.
