EU - South Korea

Co-operation in education and training between South Korea and the EU began in 2008.

It followed bilateral talks between the European Commission and the South Korean government.

At present, a number of Erasmus-like, pilot curriculum development and student mobility projects are being undertaken between the EU and South Korea. These projects involve the formation of consortia comprising at least three higher education institutions from the EU and two from South Korea.

The programme is part of the Industrialised Countries Instrument Education Cooperation Programme (ICI-ECP) - Cooperation between the EU and Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea in higher education and training.

Are you a representative of a European institution or a representative of a South Korean institution? Then please visit the website of the European Commission. Here you will find further information on who is eligible for funding and how to submit a proposal.
