This is the challenge: Play the game, become active and win the travel and accommodation scholarship to our next Awesome General Meeting which will take place in WARSAW, Poland 13-14 July 2012.
The first ones who have 120 OCEANS miles win one of our 60 scholarships.
How to collect miles? It is easy and there are many different ways... Start now! First come, first served. *
The challenge will be closed on May 25th, 8am CEST.

Members of OCEANS Network start with 20 miles. New members receive for the registration also 20 miles.
What makes you happy? Is it a special song or a good cup of coffee with friends? Easy question, loads of answers. Visit the forum, tell us about it and you'll be rewarded with five miles. If you add a picture of you, that shows what makes you happy, you will get five more miles.
How is social media used in your neighbourhood? Social Media is everywhere, how do you and your environment use it?
Contribute to the discussion in our forum and you will be rewarded with 10 miles
Acronym challenge!
Write your name as an acronym, using words that describe you and OCEANS! Tell us what are the personal characteristics you bring into the network and get 10 miles. Post it in the forum!
Personalise! Every member that has a profile picture within the online community gets 10 more miles.

You may not be able to participate in the photo competition, but you will be rewarded with 5 miles.
Write an article (about your exchange, intercultural skills, entrepreneurship) for our online community, send it to the Coordinating Board, once published, you will get 20 miles!
Represent OCEANS at events. Over the year we are now and then looking for active members who represent OCEANS at different kind of events, i.e. Higher Education Fairs. Apply as soon as you read the announcement on our website or in our newsletter! Every member gets 20 miles for the participation of such events.
Write an article for our next issue of the Wave! For every published article you get 30 miles!
And then the ultimate task: Organise your own event or hold a presentation about OCEANS Network at your university and inform future and current students or alumni of your exchange project about OCEANS. Write a short article about it for our News section, send it together with a photo to us and you get 60 miles!
* Please note that besides of a total amount of scholarships there is also a principle of geographic distribution. The exact number of scholarships for members from various regions remains to be decided depending on budget availability.
** We will track back all tasks done by OCEANS members since Nov. 2011.
