"International Presentation Skills" Workshop
Dear OCEANS members,
We will be glad to welcome you at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University for the “International presentation skills” workshop on May 5th. This workshop aims primary at students living in the Baltic area.
We would like:
- To equip you with different presentation styles that can be used internationally
- To raise the level of awareness about cultural listening habits
- To improve the physical presence: movement, posture, gesture and body language
- To equip you with methods of interaction and engagement with the audience
- To promote OCEANS Network and train you to present the Network

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 26th, 2012, 8am CET. Number of travel scholarships is restricted. We will send you an email on March 27th about the selection of the participants.
We plan to start with informal drinks on Friday evening (May 4th) and continue with the official meeting at 10 am on Saturday (May 5th) until 6 pm. OCEANS will offer accommodation in twin rooms for a maximum of two nights 4-5, 5-6 of May, as well as drinks on Friday, lunches, coffee and a group dinner on Saturday.
OCEANS will reimburse the travel costs according to the set travel limits: EUR 150.*
Before you plan your travel, please make sure you have checked our reimbursement rules (just log in to the members' section and click on Reimbursement). We only reimburse travel that has been arranged in accordance with those rules. In case you have extreme difficulties with the travel cap or are not sure whether your travel plan correspond to the rules, please feel free to contact us. We will always try to find a solution. You will be informed in due time about the agenda, and be provided with the directions to the hotel and the venue.
*All members who are not living in Lithuania, Estonia or Latvia are also welcome to register for the event but must cover all travel expenses above 150 EUR themselves.
