European Commission extends support for OCEANS Network for another two years
In a virtual meeting on 06 November 2020, the new OCEANS Service Provider presented the services foreseen to support the OCEANS Network within the next two years.
The virtual Kick-off meeting on 06 November 2020 brought together the OCEANS Board members as well as representatives from the European Commission and the new Service Provider for the first time. The aim was to present the services proposed in the new contract and to foster a good understanding of each stakeholder’s role and responsibility.
The new Service Provider is a consortium formed by the GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, ), IHS (Institut für Höhere Sudien, Institute for Advance Studies), PPW (pietzpluswild) and MOSAIC. Each consortium partner brings in a specific field of expertise which will ensure the professional support of the OCEANS Network.
Through the signature of this new contract, the EC shows its commitment to international mobility programmes and its alumni, especially in the challenging times of a global pandemic.
All parties appreciated the exchange and are looking forward to this new collaboration chapter!
