The biggest highlight of the Erasmus+ Student & Alumni Alliance (ESAA) Board meeting took place from 13-16 Dec 2018 in Bonn.

The biggest highlight of the Erasmus+ Student & Alumni Alliance (ESAA) Board meeting that took place from 13-16 Dec 2018 in Bonn (Germany), was undoubtedly the signing of the MoU by the four ESAA Member Organisations (MOs) - Erasmus Student Network (ESN), garagErasmus (gE), OCEANS Network and EMA.

The MoU creates the right environment and space for the 4 MOs to undertake future collaborative projects within ESAA and also beyond based on the ESAA’s mission as follows:

Strengthening higher education quality

Enhance and strengthen European Higher Education through the skill development of students.

Spreading Erasmus+ and widening participation

Promote the Erasmus+ Programme and increase visibility and participation across the world in both Erasmus programme & partner countries. Different target groups define the different approaches & focus given to the type of Erasmus+ promotion.

Social Inclusion, Empowerment & Participation (Social Impact)

Empower young people to be active global citizens, improve intercultural understanding and cross-cultural communication and advocate for social inclusion and equality.

Capacity Building

Build capacity and train the ESAA Member Organisations and their volunteers in topics central to the provision of support at the Organisations' grassroots levels.

OCEANS Network is glad to be part of the Alumni Alliance and is looking forward into an exciting new year.
