Daniel Ironi

Candidate for the position as “President”

Tell us about yourself and what you are currently dedicating your time towards?

I'm Daniel from Kfar-Saba, Israel, a Business Developer with orientation to data analysis, Innovator that can execute plans. I've studied Business Management bachelor with a specialty in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. As for now, I want to change my day job to match my title a bit more, I keep studying more courses to enlarge my knowledge, and work on my private projects.

Do you have any previous experience with OCEANS and if so in what capacity?

Well, "OCEANS" is quite new to me, BUT(!) I took a place in two Erasmus+ events:

  1. The international entrepreneurship week in Rotterdam, The Nederlands (2018).
  2. The Erasmus+ Student exchange program in Pula, Croatia (March 2020).

Therefore I think I can also plan these programs by myself.

What motivates you to apply for this position?

  1. The title sounds impressive.
  2. It will give me the ability to fulfill my innovative ideas to help students with a variety of subjects.
  3. The responsibility in taking part in something internationally for students.
  4. Meeting new friends and increasing my network.
  5. It will also go well in my resume and might attract recruiters.

What skills and qualities can you bring to this position?

I'm an Entrepreneur, thinking outside the box is in my blood.
I'm efficient, and I'd like to "close missions".
I'll bring a good person that cares about many things, even humans, and always reach a hand to help others.
I have experience with many situations, managing, teaching, and commanding soldiers.

What are your plans and ideas for the future of OCEANS?

First of all, I need a "map" (to map) the OCEANS, on a board, and as a good Biz-Dev, see where we are now and where we would like to be, what is possible what it takes to get there.
The second thing is awareness, I know a few friends that took the same part as I did with Erasmus but never heard of OCEANS.
The third would be to increase international cooperation.
