The Board

The Board is the executive decision-making body of the OCEANS Network and has a mandate of one year. It is currently composed of 7 members: the President, Vice-President, and 5 Heads of teams. The teams include International Coordinator, Projects, Community Development, Communications, Content Development. The working groups Communications and Content Development will work and coordinate closely together. For the different roles, please see here.

Azerbaijan
About:

Mir Murad Sadikhov is the President of OCEANS Network, originally from Azerbaijan. He began his educational path with studies in Finance and Economics, followed by an MBA degree. He gained his first professional experience in customer service and retail, where he developed strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. He then moved into import management, specialising in supplier negotiations, customs procedures, logistics coordination and international supply chain operations. He also contributed to large-scale infrastructure projects, focusing on document control and coordination workflows. He later participated in the Erasmus+ mobility programme at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences in Germany, focusing on marketing, product development and knowledge management. After returning, he expanded his institutional engagement by teaching economics and tourism at Western Caspian University.

Alongside his academic work, Mir Murad Sadikhov took an active role in international cooperation. He led the EU-funded grassroots project “Erasmus Open Horizons”, promoting cross-cultural learning, youth engagement, and community partnerships. Most recently, he served as Head of Division for Scientific Events & Conferences, where he initiated and coordinated national and international academic forums. He is fluent in English, with native proficiency in Russian and Turkish. Currently, he is developing a Food Tech concept aimed at improving food distribution through digital solutions.

As President of OCEANS Network, Murad is committed to building sustainable institutional bridges, expanding opportunities for young people, and fostering cooperation between communities and organisations across regions.

Vitoria Cabral

About:

Vitoria Cabral is the Vice-President of OCEANS Network. She is currently based in France, where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Wine Business & Marketing at the University of Montpellier. Originally from Brazil, she holds a degree in International Relations and has built her academic and professional path around international trade and the wine industry.

Her experience combines practice and research, reflecting her interest in global markets, sustainability, and inclusive development. This perspective has been shaped by international mobility experiences, including studies at the University of Salamanca and participation in the Global Teams programme at Universidad Continental in Peru, where she collaborated with young professionals from across Latin America to address shared regional challenges.

In 2025, Vitoria served as OCEANS Head of Community Development, leading initiatives to strengthen connections between scholarship holders and alumni worldwide, foster engagement, and create spaces for collaboration and peer support across different countries and generations. This experience reinforced her belief in the power of community as a driver of personal growth, collective impact, and long-term international cooperation.

Daniela Cristina Carfi

Daniela Cristina Carfi is a Brazilian Finance and Governance professional with over 15 years of experience in multinational environments. Throughout her career, she has built a solid background in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Controllership, and corporate governance.

Her academic background includes an MBA in AI, Data Science and Big Data for Business from Ibmec, an MBA in Corporate Finance from Centro Universitário Adventista de São Paulo, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wyden. She also completed a six-month extension programme in Business Administration in Amsterdam, which strengthened her global and intercultural perspective.

Daniela acts with enthusiasm and a proactive approach to strengthen global partnerships, foster collaboration across countries, and expand opportunities for Erasmus+ alumni. She is driven by the purpose of connecting people, building bridges between regions, and actively contributing to the development of more collaborative, inclusive, and well-governed international communities.

Ceren Tost
Turkey
About:

Ceren Tost is the Head of the OCEANS Communications Team. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture from Karadeniz Technical University and participated in the Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Programme at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Vilniaus Technologijų ir Dizaino Kolegija in Lithuania.

Following graduation, she completed an Erasmus+ internship at an architectural office in Padova, Italy, where she contributed to residential projects, with a particular focus on the renovation of historic apartment buildings. She has collaborated with interior design studios in Trabzon, Türkiye, and has worked as a freelance 3D rendering artist.

Ceren is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Art History at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, further enriching her interdisciplinary perspective on design, visual culture, and spatial practices. In her role at OCEANS, her mission is to develop effective visual communication strategies and enhance the network’s overall visibility.

Bennittes Kipyegon George
Kenya
About:

Bennittes Kipyegon George is the Head of the OCEANS Community Development team. He is an environmental scientist, climate advocate, and youth leader from Kenya. He holds an MSc in Environmental Studies, with an academic exchange at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, Germany.

Bennittes works with communities to implement nature-based solutions, agroecology, and climate adaptation strategies, including land restoration for land degradation neutrality, while engaging in global dialogues to advance youth participation in climate action and sustainable development.

In the OCEANS Network, he promotes Erasmus+ opportunities and EU-funded initiatives for young people and grassroots organisations in Africa. He is also the founder and director of the Plus One Tree Initiative, a youth-led network focused on climate action, land restoration, and sustainable food systems.

Dr Cosme Zinsou Odjo
Benin
About:

Dr. Cosme Zinsou Odjo is the Head of the OCEANS projects team. He is a TVET consultant, researcher, and development specialist with over seven years of experience in project management, employability training, and international programme coordination. He holds a PhD in Governance and Regional Integration (TVET and Youth Employability) from the Pan African University Institute (PAUGHSS), Cameroon, an M.Ed. in TVET from Kathmandu University, Nepal, and advanced degrees in English Didactics from the University of Abomey-Calavi, Benin.

Founder and CEO of the Benin TVET Centre (BTC), he has collaborated with UNESCO-UNEVOC, the National Employment Agency of Benin, SNV Benin, and Erasmus+ networks, contributing to inclusive TVET research and youth employability initiatives and continuing professional development.

Since joining the OCEANS Network in 2021, he has served as Head of Community Development (2022–2023) and currently as Head of the Project Department (2026–2027). His publications span employment policy, TVET integration, and quality assurance in Africa, with articles in leading international journals. Fluent in French and English, he is committed to advancing skills development and youth empowerment across Africa and beyond.

Laryssa Damasceno

Laryssa Damasceno is the Head of the OCEANS Internal Affairs team. She is a Law student, currently working at the Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de Goiás in Brazil. Her professional experience has strengthened her sense of ethics, accountability, and structured governance, qualities she now channels into her work at OCEANS.

Passionate about education and student exchange programmes, she believes in the transformative power of international experiences and cross-cultural dialogue. She is deeply committed to fostering an environment where members feel informed, heard, and actively engaged.

As Head of Internal Affairs, her mission is to enhance transparency, improve internal communication, and reinforce trust within the organisation. Through strategic organisation, open dialogue, and a collaborative approach, Lyssa aims to help OCEANS grow stronger, more connected, and more efficient in achieving its goals.
